New PC, but running Slow?

    Regarding the high cpu usage, can't you check in the Task Manage and see which process is taking up the most CPU? It is very weird that you system is running that slow, but you did mention that you had trouble with the OS detecting your disk, I wonder if that is the root cause. I remember reading about different modes the hard drives can be accessed by the OS and if for some reason it went in to the slowest mode, it could possibly account for the sluggishness.

    Hey mate, yeah this was resolved, the problem was that the hard drive was corrupt, so I got it replaced.

    How did you check your hard drive?
    I think mine is corrupted too.

    Each HDD manufacturer has a testing app. Check your HDD website, should be easy to find.
