    NVIDIA DRIVER UPDATE/ v260.89 - WEI score?


    Hi, I have just updated my Graphics driver to the latest v260.89 and then refreshed my WEI now my gaming graphics was at low 5.2 now after bieng refreshed it is now at 5.1

    I dont believe it.... just re ran the WEI and now gaming graphics droped another point to 5.0

    whats happening?

    Isn't the v260.89 the beta version. Betas are under testing and aren't always stable.

    I would roll it back to the proven WHQL version.
    I would get it direct from graphics card manufacturer.

    You can find it below as a second choice.

    I just noticed it isn't a Beta anymore.
    The Acer web page shows a REALLY old driver.

    I'd go back to this one if it was working okay before.
    I put in your GeForce 9200 in the search.

    All okay; I restarted PC and re ran the WEI and it went back up

    I know people say WEI is not really accurate but to me its a guide.

    I wouldn't worry over a .1 difference. Doesn't mount to a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things.

    Well if it gives you problems you know you can roll back to the v258 and you know how so you learned something and got the new one to work.
