Right click desktop problem back
Win 7 pro
Having the same problem. Right clicking on the desktop crashes explorer or takes a long time to recover. Stopping winrar has cured my right click in files and folders, for the time being. I tried to add the registry string above but could not edit it. Running regedit as admin didnt help. Changing permissions for the user also didnt help. Cant type in values or text to modify new string. A string under the new entry can be changed but the upper entry with 0 values refuses to be altered or deleted.
I could do a sys restore but I have done some big installs, not too keen to execute one. Any help appreciated. If I find an answer somewhere else will put it here.
Thanks in advance.
