    win ram use

I'm running w 7100 32 bit in 512 mb ram and run several apps. why dont you run task manager and see whats using what ram. You can run task mgr by right clicking the taskbar and chosing start task mgr

    Good luck

if the new-est version of windows 7 be like this, i just put XP again to my computer :)

    ram usage

Dont worry about your English its fine. there are a couple of things to consider. XP is not supprted by M$ anymore and doesn't have current technology. Win 7 will be around for a couple of years and has more updated drivers and technology.

Is it impossible to upgrade the ram? Or is the computer just slow? Win 7 can run in 512 Mb of ram (slowly) and so can xp. I dont understand why win using 800 Mb is a major problem.

    Let me know

W7 can use much less than vista (512mb & below), but if its there it will utilize it, unlike XP

try & run vista on 512mb, you'll soon realize how much more efficient W7 is.

Memory on boot is one thing that's about the same, Its when you start using a few different programs is where Win7 shines. And now that we are seeing people updating some things we will see a much better performing apps in Win 7 over Vista. To prove what I'm saying open Adobe's Photoshop in Vista then open it in Win7 you will see how 7 does better at memory usage over Vista.

Also if you are looking to have more ram to your usage grab a 2gig flash drive and use the ReadyBoost app in control panel to help you out.
