What do you mean exactly by "google repeat errors?" Most of the recent errors are reported as "fatal hardware errors" by WHEA-logger.
Though the strange thing is that the errors date all the way back to 2006. My computer was bought new in 2008 and did not have Windows 7 installed until some time in 2009.

Then run Disk Check

Did you run the Repair Install?
Err... well the error I was talking about appears to be a very non-specific driver error. As far as I know, all of my drivers should be up to date.

You can extract the Win7 DVD ISO using ImgBurn, write it to flash stick using UltraISO trial version: Open ISO on File tab, then Write Image on Bootable Tab, Format first, then Write.
You can then run the Repair Install or consider a clean reinstall.
Some tips for a perfect clean install based on hundreds of them:
Make your Recovery DIsks or save a Windows 7 backup image of the entire HD first so you have a path back to factory condition. Then wipe the HD of all code: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation
The installer is mostly driver-complete, with newer arriving quickly via optional Windows Updates. Any drivers then missing in Device Manager can be found on the Support Downloads webpage for your model computer or device. Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version
Install updates and then programs slowly over time to gauge performance after each. Don't let any programs write themselves into msconfig>Startup as they become freeloaders on your RAM/CPU and can spy on you. I only allow AV and gadgets. Troubleshooting with MSCONFIG
Use a lightweight free AV like MS Security Essentials which works perfectly with Windows 7 Firewall. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Then save a Windows 7 Backup image externally so you never have to reinstall again, just reimage the HD or replacement using DVD or Repair CD. Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

By the way, here's an update of what's been going on with my laptop...
I reinstalled Windows only to find that the laptop would get stuck at the Compaq boot screen for quite some time before turning on. I rebooted a few times and installed a few drivers before concluding that the reinstallation did nothing. But I was fine with that, as I wanted to start clean anyway.
Now... remember that broken DVD drive I told you about? I removed it and lo and behold, the boot was MUCH faster. My faulty DVD drive was the culprit and now all is well with my booting.
However, the one thing that has NOT resolved was sleep mode... it still hangs with that. Though Windows has informed me that it is a processor issue, so I don't think it's really fixable. Still, it's no biggie and I'm pretty happy with everything right now.
Study the Performance Diagnostics log on Advanced Tools page accessed by clicking the WEI score link at Computer>Properties. Google repeat errors text and ID # to resolution. Look for cued issues on Tools page, Generate A System Health Report.
Most often sleep mode hang is due to a Display Driver, so update yours to see if it helps. Then:

I have a Compaq F767nr, equipped with the Quanta 30EA motherboard running Windows 7 64 bit. I think I have exactly the same problem. Here's what I know so far. When starting through the HP Phoenix bios v F.08 dated 04/25/2008, it takes forever to start.
My DVD drive has been intermittent, so I pulled it out of the slot for further inspection later. Lo and behold, the machine started perfectly, so I left the drive out and it's been starting like a champ. I assumed I had a bad drive, so I ordered a new Sony Optiarc AD-7580 to replace the AD-7560 DVD burner. Meanwhile, it's starting like it hasn't for years.
I received my new drive and slammed it in. Back was the painfully long boot and I couldn't see the drive in Windows. After a few loooong restarts, Windows 7 found the Sony DVD and installed the Optiarc drivers. I rushed on over to DVD properties and it took forever to open properties, but the device was there. Now, I'm back to loooong boot times and sporadic drive use. I guess I didn't have a bad drive, after all. I'm gonna pull out the DVD drive, so I can boot normally. I hope this helps.
