    any users of the SSD Tweak Utility 1.6.1 ???

    I asked about it in another thread, and basically found out people don't do those tweaks anymore. Shutting off the defrag and disabling hibernation is about it.

    thanks for the reply i have 2 ssd i have one to connect yet the other i run a linux distro on kubuntu so windows has nothing to do with that one, when i connect the other i will use it for windows 7 storage.

    Looks very much like this one which I have used with Vista. But now I do what DeaconFrost says. I do my own 2 little things. I found that e.g. disabling Superfetch is counterproductive. After all, RAM is still a lot faster than a SSD.

    yes that's the same one Elpamsoft.com
    well i will look into it im not to fussed i use a linux distro on my ssd and when i use my other i will use it for storage oh and by the way the kubuntu runs great on the ssd no problems so far.
