Windows 7: boot up time slowed

The Win OS listing is likely gadgets (put your mouse on the file extension to see for sure),

the Synaptics isn't needed unless you use the scroll bar (which I find buggy).

catalyst doesn't need to startup with Win7 unless you use special vid card/chip settings within the software itself and not Win7.
