I have a pc with windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I have a problem with some icons on taskbar: sometimes some applications are displaying the wrong icons, sometimes, as you can see (screenshot), I don't see some icons: sometimes a few are missing...
When you hover over the taskbar ( for files currently open ) I keep getting a popup that looks like a mini screen shot of the file. HOW DO I MAKE THAT STOP ?????
When hovering over icons in the taskbar there is a delay before the appearance of the popup with the details. This seems to be a new feature. Is there any way to reduce this delay?

Is there any way to disable the taskbar popup when you hover your mouse over the edge of the screen with auto-hide on? I still want to have it appear when I press the Windows key, but have that hotspot area somehow disabled. I've tried the app by Prisoner, but that disables the whole taskbar,...
