    copy/move, unzipping win7 ultimate

Hi guys. This problem started about 10days ago, before then everything fine for a year. Now copying/moving and unzipping both winrar and 7Zip files takes forever. Example 3.45gb estimated 51/2hours. Crazy!
Have cleaned up all drives and re-installed Win7. Still the same. ran sfc cbs log available. Hijack this log

Hope someone can help me resolve this problem as I´m tearing what little hair I´ve got out! Have spent 4 days on this job now! Just noticed with this new install windows restored from the task bar will not overlay! What a crock!

    Many thanks in anticipation.

    Try it in safe mode
Try it with MSE disabled (MSE is proving to be "troublesome")

Run a full antivirus scan if you haven't already

Hardware? Memory defective? Hard drive problem?

Did you try it immediately after doing a clean install, before any Windows Updates?

Sorry to mess you guys around. Found some dodgy files, got rid of those then tried unzipping on my "C" drive. Works ok. Moving back off my external fairly fast but why when I try to work on my external is copying/moving and unzipping slower than it was originally? Any help to put this right?
