Windows 7 desktop/Internet/everything Unresponsive
Hey Guys
I've got this annoying problem with my 64-bit (7100) version. I'll be chilling, and all of a sudden, my desktop, internet and basically everything else will become unresponsive. When you dbl click on anything, it just doesn't do anything. The computer hasn't frozen, it's just like it's hibernating or (i don't know)...
When i click on start, my list (everything) disappears quickly, and you can't click on shut down even. When you click on the internet explorer icon on the taskbar, a window pops up that says:
"Can't open this item
It may have been moved, renamed, or deleted. Do you want to remove ths item? Yes or no"
When you click either yes/no, all the icons on the taskbar disappear.. And it continues to do nothing.
It even happens in Games...But this happens every EVERY 10 minutes... So whatever i'll be doing, it will just stop working.
I've DONE every update, and this issue wasn't from the start, it started like after a few days. I've only installed a couple of programs for eg.. Winamp, Fallout 3, VLC and Mcafee.
To fix this problem temporarily, i have to ctrl+alt+del and log off, which works. When i log back in, everything works temporarily and bugs out again. Restarting also temporarily works...
The only thing that carries on working, (if it's already open) is winamp.
Please could somebody give me any indication of what i could try. Even if you're not sure that it'll work... Anything would be appreciated here.
I've considered rolling back, but i'll wait for answers first.
Thanks, and any help is appreciated :)
