Dear Maguscreed,
My experience with SAS has/is been extremely useful. Yes, the same goes for Slim drivers. In fact ,recently the detection rate of trojans(BackDoor) is better with SAS(PRO) than MBAM (REAL-Time)!

I haven't actually encountered a virus on my system since I upgraded from xp two days after the release of vista.
I use the commonsense security suite. Despite spending all day on the net and using both torrents and usenet from time to time, I have never caught anything.
I rarely even bother scanning because I just know nothing is there. ...of course firefox with the noscript plugin helps a lot too.

Same info as original post - windows explorer seems unresponsive

I have the same probelm exactly as the original post - it started with trying to delete a file I had just recorded from a movie using VLC. now explorer is nearly always constantly thinking - although randomly works - I just had control panel do the same.

Windows Explorer extremely slow
When I open windows explorer it takes forever to load up. When I first open it it shows favorites and desktop with a magnifying glass over each icon spinning. The green bar gets to the middle of the X and then basically stops. What can I do to fix this? Thanks, Debbie

Random unresponsive mouse and extremely slow processing.
Hello all, I have a bit of an odd problem. For about 3 days now, my comp will randomly "lock up" in a sense. I can move the mouse, but if I click on anything, I get a beep (through sound output, not the mobo). I can access task manager through the keyboard but usually it ends up in a restart....

Extremely slow unresponsive startup/restart
This just recently started happening and I cant figure out why. Each time I restart or turn my computer on it takes like 10-15 minutes before I can even do anything. Some programs like Spotify, Skype and even my Task Manager arent showing any letters, I dont know if it was because I tried opening...
