    Trustedinstaller runs all the time..

    Hello,
Recently, Trustedinstaller has started to run continuesly on my rig, occupying up to 60% CPU capacity.
I have tried to restore to an earlier time point, where I not had this problem, but with no success.
2 months ago, I did a complete reinstall of the OS, and it has been working flawlessly until a couple of days ago, when this started.
How can I stop this program from running all the time?

    Best Regards,
    Anders

Anders what anti virus and malware are you running?

I would start by downloading malwarebytes and running it in safe mode. If it finds nothing then I would run a system file check to verify and repair your system files

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    ZigZag,

I am running Bullguard Internet Security ver. 10, which includes antivirus, malware, spyware, firewall, etc.
I will later today run the programs you suggested.

    Hello,

I ran Malwarebytes, it found three Malware, that then were removed/quarantened. But problem still is there.
Then I tried to run SFC /Scannow, but it comes up with a message, that "Windows rescource protection does not allow this action to take place".

What other possibilities are there now?

    BR,
