No it will not run faster unless you require applications that demand more memory...
I've been running on 2 GBs since 2007, had XP, Vista, and now 7 on this very same computer without issue.

I do? Well I am even tho I want more. But this computer I have cannot go beyond 2 GB so I have to be content with what I have. Until I get to building my new computer. However, from mer personal experience, trying to save RAM for a rainy day is a waste.

about 2-3 days ago I noticed my computer used alot of memory just after booting up and eventually shuts down. I have a 8gb ram (around 4gb is being used since im using 32bit). Before i could play games while browser is open it used around 80~%. How do prevent the usage to going so high? :cry:
