Windows 7: Running hot?

Windows 7 x64 Enterprise

Yes, I was actually looking at that link earlier today. Something that I DO NOT want to get involved in. I am going to bring it to my local Geek Squad (only place around me that fixes computers) and see what they would charge for a job like this.

Or I could send it to HP and have them fix it, but I feel like that will be a long process. Hmmm

geek squad will charge you 100 bucks just to walk in the door.
Their pricing is horrible.
I would investigate whatever other options first.

As for the process to take it apart, that's pretty typical for a laptop.
I don't know your specific model but some of them use the hex /torque style screws, which most people don't even have the proper tools lying around to mess with.

Yeah I've actually heard that about GS.

I do have the proper tools needed, but I just don't think I want to get into taking it completely apart.

I am going to call HP tomorrow and see what they would charge. Hopefully it's not too ridiculous.

Found the the above service was running all the time and I only occasionally use SuperSpyware AntiSpyware as a standalone scan. This is solely as backup check to my Antimalwarebytes Pro. May I stop and disable it, and how would I remove it entirely? Thanks Glenn
