    Thanks, Jacee. I will consider your suggestion, after I've tried some of the others. Since I have been a Norton customer for many years and am used to the menus and screens, I'm a bit reluctant to make such a change as you suggrest at this point in my life.     I had the same problem and this solution was not too difficult to follow. it works.

When my computer boots up I get a two line message: PDBoot program not found - skipped autocheck and LSDelete program not found - skipped autocheck. I read some where that these are Perfect Disk programs but I don't have Perfect Disk installed. I don't have a clue how to get rid of them. ...
Recently I delete my ubuntu and try to boot my windows 7, and this error show up. I've try the startup repair by using the windows 7 CD, and I am sure autochk.exe is in my system32 folder. Any ideas of this? Hmm....I've try to fix the MBR, perform a chkdsk check in cmd but still get this error...
