Throw Windows XP into a virtual machine, import the data then download the transfer tool on to the XP VM re-export. Then load it up in Windows 7.

i already performed the google search. anyway, didn't mean to offend. i'll find another computer to re-transfer the files on in the correct format. you'd figure windows would keep the software compatible with the hardware through the years though. 6 years of foresight should not be that difficult for engineers.
