    If the partition is on another physical drive, then yes it might.. If it's on the same drive, it'd be the same as if its on the system partition to begin with.

    Sorry to gravedig this topic, small question

    I recently upgraded my laptop (ASUS N53Jq) from 6GB to 8GB. So the pagefile increased in size, and it really bothers me to have it on C. Can I put this pagefile on D? If yes, how?

    Control panel-system-advanced system settings-under advanced tab go to performance settings-under advanced tab go to virtual memory change,click on the drive or partition you want to set pagefile,custom size,set,ok twice,reboot,should be done.Its a straight forward procedure,stick to the directions...
