How do I get extend Partition C ? Option grayed out

Help please: I have no hybrid sleep option
Firstly, apologies if I am in the wrong section - I was confused as to where best to aske this. (I have Windows 7 Home Premium on a desktop pc) I have been into ... Power Options Change Plan Settings Change Advanced Power Settings and when I expand Sleep there is no Hybrid Sleep option.
