    Screen solved

Hiyya Ig it was that the resolution would not work on full HD - have to use 1680x1050 to get rid of that edge.

However have found out from my supplier re the Catalyst function to set the card up - haven't worked on it yet but hopefully soon. But at least it now has the latest driver from AMD / ATi on board.

Performance is now 5.0 so I think with a little tweaking the card I might get it a bit better.

    Anyway gotta dash - work.

Well, at least you are making headway if you are getting 5.0.

I'd guess you would get higher with a separate video card.

Glad you got the resolution straightened out. I had a similar problem, but luckily the Intel HD graphics control panel lets you set a custom resolution, which I did.

If you ever get things running exactly as you like it, you might want to make an image with Macrium and then hope you never have to use it.
