    SlOW


    My Laptop is very slow and it freeze several times
    every thing is slow like startup and shutdown and browsing the hdd

    what can i do ?

    Slow compared too...? Do you have a ripping fast desktop?


    The thing that slows down most laptops the most (Assuming it's otherwise new enough to run Windows 7) is the hard drive. Update the HD to something fast or even to an SSD if you want to see that lappy start to wake up.

    What are the specs of that slowpoke. And yes, an SSD can do wonders - except for the internet speed.

    This is the boot time I get from my laptop with a 90GB OCZ Vertex2 - that is 16 seconds.

    i don't have ripping fast desktop

    and i have changed the hd the last month it os toshiba 320 gb
    and my lap is msi cr500 core due 2.2 4gb ram
