Hibernation Malfunction

Hey everyone, it's been a while since i've been having a hibernation problem, i'm pretty sure it happened after i updated SP1 for my Win 7 ultimate x64, this is how it goes:
- i choose hibernate (power button as i've set before OR hibernation option from the shut down menu), NO "windows is preparing to hibernate" shows up, display goes off but the HDD is still functioning for a few more seconds, then supposedly "hibernation" happens, and when i turn the PC on again, it's as if the whole "hibernation data" to be restored is completely dumped, and it's asked of me whether to start the windows normally or in safe mode bla bla...

have done sfc /scannow & CHKDSK, nothing is wrong, the pc is pretty much always up-to-date, but i also do poke around the registry (not manually, with CCleaner) and only to clean up after an uninstalled app, might it be a registry string mishap?! (oh look! it rhymed! )

help me plz?!

Hard drive malfunction? USB port malfunction? Or just normal?
I recently purchased an HP ProBook 450 G3. I am using two passport compact 1 TB drives with my laptop's two USB 3.0 ports. In normal use there is no problem. However, when I copy a lot of data from one to the other (or from one to the laptop's internal drive) the drives keep disconnecting. I know...

Hibernation issues with Win 7 - no hibernation but goes to login scr
I have encountered this a few times and I thought of collating past experiences of other users on their successful attempt to restore the eco friendly hibernation feature. I personally favour hibernate than sleep as sleep slowly bleeds your battery away. I just installed a 512GB M4 Crucial SSD...

Cannot renable hibernation. Hibernation not working.
Hey, I recently bought a brand new Tune-Up Utilities 2012 software:).I disabled hibernation file using tune up utilities. That time I don't use hibernation function;). But now I realized how hibernation is a better option then shutdown:sleepy:. So I renabled hibernation file again using tune-up, as...

Hibernation after Resuming from Hibernation ?
Hello all, I hope this is the correct place where to post my little but annoying problem. I searched already but couldn't find any answer to my question: every time I resume my system from hibernation it resumes, it displays the desktop for a couple of seconds and then goes in hibernation status...

Updating Malfunction
I recently had to rebuild my PC because I was unable to login into it in normal mode. It is not rebuilt, but it seems when I run updates it either freezes during the process or something. Last night, there were 113 updates that I waited for about an hour and a half to complete. The next batch there...
