    Faster Transfer File Speed


    Hi Guys its me again..
    My Question is, is it possible to increase the File Transfer Speed on my Computer???
    So that i can copy faster my Files!!

    That depends. Can you tell us more? what files from where to where, how much memory, what network, etc.

    I want to copy my Programs like Photoshop CS5 from a USB to my HDD but i take soooo long
    I have 8 GB RAM\
    Intel Core i7
      My Computer

    They are big programs. Do you mean your data or the app itself? Is your HD 5400rpm or 7200 how much cache? USB2 transfers ~480 Mb/s so it shouldnt take that long. USB3 even faster

    I know i want just the App.. My HDD is 7200rpm and where can i find how much cache it have:) ??

    The File is about 1.6GB and it takes more than 10minutes or more..i did it only once

    TeraCopy is a freeware file copy utility which can replace Windows own copy handler. I've used it for a few years now, its very stable and provides much faster file transfers.

    Glad to be of help.

    If you want TeraCopy to run automatically and don't choose the option to replace Windows default copy handler on installation, you will have to run copy operations manually (or via the context menu option).

    If you want TeraCopy to handle all transfers automatically - Open the program via All Programs and go to More > Menu > Options > check Use TeraCopy as default copy handler.
