    Windows Explorer Problem

HI, i'm new to this forum and it looks very good with all the stuff i've seen .

So my problem is that when i go to My Pictures/Videos/Documents/Music/Libraries etc. i get this >>>

It just keeps on loading but no thumbnails show up and sometimes theres no icon at all.
On the Left of my screen al it shows is the magnifying glass rotating but nothing comes up.

Sometimes on My Computer nothing shows up at all not even my HDD.

Hope somebody can help me fix this problem Thank You :)

EDIT: When i restart my PC the icons go back to normal but after a while it starts to have problems.
I also think that this happens because i let My Videos and Folders load its icons.

Do one or all of the followings ....

    1. Start > search box, type folder options > View tab > un-check Always show icons , never thumbnails > Ok

    2. Thumbnails preview enabled or disabled

    3. Thumbnails Cache enabled or disabled

    4. Thumbnails cache - clear and reset

    Suggestions :

    1. If this is not a long-time-ago problem, please do a system restore. Pick the date when you did NOT have this problem as your restore point.
    System Restore

    2. If system restore is not possible, or does not help, please do a system file check. It is to look for corrupt files, and it will try to repair them if any found.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

That icon is the one typically displayed for files with no file extension or not associated with a particular app. What do you open these in ? If you right clock (or even click!) and get the Open with option, use that to select your app. and check the box to always open with it. If the files are properly associated a thumbnail should show up.

All of my files are associated with a specific program for each of them.
About the icons that come up blank, it looks like the explorer is loading them but no thumbnails show up and the explorer just keeps loading.... :) Oh and the icons open what they're suppose to open but it doesn't show any thumbnails and some times no icon at all(this sometimes happens when i go to My Computer) :)

OK Guys, I Think i fixed my problem

I think that what was causing the thumbnails not to show is the program dllhost.exe located in system32 folder.

I deleted the Dllhost.exe (made a backup though :P) and now my icons are working properly
