Booting slow

hello..all i'am newbie
just wanna fix my problem
i have (a very slow booting on the windows "logo") why that ?

First of all can you go to your UserCP (link in the nav bar at the top of any forum page) and fill out your system spec information in Profile > Edit System Spec. This will make it a lot easier for you to get the right help from members.

Secondly, download Autoruns for Windows (Sysinternals) and extract the zip archive to a folder of your choice. Open the folder, right click autoruns.exe and run as administrator.

Once opened, click the 'Logon' tab, and then get a good screenshot of all the entries there. Upload the image to this thread and we can see how things look.

I'm fed up with this...recently I had 4GBs of RAM, and will, but for now I have it in my WHS because the 2011 release requires 2GBs of RAM... But I'm very angry with the performance decrease. It's always been this way though. It always has this stupid performance decrease, and lowering my RAM...

I have an HP dual core 64bit machine with 8gig of cache. It is a win 7 upgrade. I have the processors set to 2, changed virtual page memory to min 8192and 16384 max. Defraged, no viruses, removed most of the fonts.... and still very slow boot time, it takes like 4 minutes to boot.... Any...

system restore followed by slow booting
I had to use a restore point yesterday, it did its job and everything looks recovered as it should be. However since the restore my bootup time when the hdd is loading is way longer than it was, even my laptop boots up a lot faster now. I did do a disk defrag and it had no affect.
