Is it safe to delete the $RECYCLE.BIN Folder? Pls Help?

    Is it safe to delete the $RECYCLE.BIN Folder? Pls Help?


    Hello,
    I got a usb 250gb hdd, and its got a folder called $recycle.bin

    My question is, can i just delete it and have no problems? Thanks and tell me if you ever did it before.

    Why don't you just hide it,

    Doing so will reset the Recycle Bin for the drive that you deleted it on as outlined in the tutorial below. After restarting the computer, this file will automatically be recreated though. It should only be deleted if you are having a issue with your Recycle Bin as described in the tutorial below.
