    It may be a bug, but I haven't seen any hotfixes or updates for this so far.

    I've been struggling with the same problem - my computer goes into hibernation without notifying me.
    I have played around with the levels of battery, and still no notification!

Hello, is it possible to turn off the notification that pops up when battery level is critical (~7%) ?. "Change advanced power settings" only lets me disable the notification for low battery (~10%). The reason is that I got the program Battery Bar installed and let rather Battery Bar handle...

today I reached 7%(13 mins) remaining of energy in my battery, and I got a notification saying that I need to: plug my computer OR change/replace the battery(?) I didn't understand what "change/replace the battery" meant so I didn't do anything, I also couldn't plug my charger/adapter to a wall...
The "consider replacing your battery notification" has been cause of much consternation and discontent. I find the MS solution to be non-ideal, however, here is their official comment/explanation of this notification. What should I do if I receive a "Consider replacing your battery"...
