SSD Optimisation - move Appdata\Local\Temp?

I read today a lot of comments about SSD - moving Mozilla Firefox cache ( my default browser ) and Temp folder ( which one ? ) to HDD.
Is that really necessary ? And about some users folders, i moved only My Documents to D ( HDD )
I never use My Pictures / My Music / Saved Games or whatever there is.
The only reason i moved My Documents to D is because of some saved games folders. When i recovery sometime my backup image, i forget to back them up, and i have to start the game again.
But this way, i always have them on D. Most of the games have the saved games location to My Documents.
I'm a bit worry about what essenbe said. I used a lot, Acronis - backup and recovery, but now i found out that restoring the backup image often, can hurt the SSD performance.
Whatever happent, if i "stress" the SSD and i can use it to maximum performance for about 2-3 years, i'm okay with this.
I didn't buy it only to look at him ( SSD ) and to take care of his lifetime

I think one should only move files off the SSD if there is a space constraint reason. Therfore it usually makes sense to move all the user files to a seperate partition on the HDD. That makes sense in any case (even if you do not have an SSD) for better protection of your data. In some cases - e.g. if you have very large games, it may also make sense to move the program files of those games to the HDD.

But the rest of the OS including all the temp files can stay on the SSD. I would not at all worry about wearing the SSD with the OS. The SSD will live a lot longer than you will care to keep it.

If you restore the OS often, there may be a temporary slowdown until Trim and garbage collection had a chance to make the cleanup. Just let your system idle for a while and that will be taken care of.
