    Reliability monitor stopped working

    Hi,
My Reliability monitor stopped working. If i open it, it just stays at the loading screen forever. I have done nothing to the system lately expect for deleting a registy item for Internet Explorer. Does anyone know a way to get it to work, or would a repair instaill be the best option?

i found that last night, and now it wont stop loading.
Last night it kept " Not responding" and then one time it actually loaded.
I found that, and now it doesnt stop loading

Edit :So i figured if i leave it loading for like 5mins it will adventually load.

    Why so slow?

I honestly don't know exactly what has gone wrong with your case. I'm really more of a dump file troubleshooter.

    Mitch,

If at all possible, use a System Restore Point to restore your computer to the point BEFORE you made registry changes.

After that, then tell us the status.

RESTORE TO A PREVIOUS SYSTEM RESTORE POINT

    WIN | type SYSTEM RESTORE |ENTER | NEXT |
check Show more restore points (lower left)|
Highlight the desired restore point |
Scan for affected programs (lower right) |
make a note of affected programs |
    CLOSE | NEXT | FINISH

WIN is the key with the wavy Microsoft flag on top.
