Issues with latest Intel SSD Toolbox update

I just update my notebook from Intel SSD F/W Rev 2CV102HD (Nov 30, 2009) to Rev 2CV102M3 (Jan 18, 2011); and also Intel Toolbox from Rev 2.01 (Oct 2010) to Rev 2.02 (Mar 2011). The Firmware was successful. The Toolbox reflected some issues.
First, the Toolbox indicated a dual system; I've never had a dual system.
Second, Toolbox detected SuperFetch being ENABLED. It has and remains DISABLED since installing the SSD over a year ago.
Third, it detected a laptop; that is correct. But what is the DIPM status feature that the toolbox seems to want ENABLED? Where is the "System Documentation" it mentions that needs to be Enabled. It was never a problem with the old Toolbox revision 2.01.
Anyone else have these issues? What should I do about these? See screenshots below. Thanx.

    Hello Garuda,

Double check to make sure that you have the Superfetch service set to disabled to fully disable superfetch.

In addition, double check to make sure that you have the Disk Defragmenter schedule set to either be completely off, or turned off for any SSD drive. You will need to temporarily enble the Disk Defragmenter service first long enough to do this though.

Afterwards, see what it says in the Intel Toolbox.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Thanks Shawn. I didn't think anyone would reply as quickly as you did. So in the meantime, I decided to click on "tune it" on the Toolbox option.

That seemed to fix the S-Fetch issues. But should I be concerned and explore further regarding the "dual-system" error? Or the DIPM? I also use an A/C power cord and have the power setting at high-performance. It's never been a issue in the past, even under very heavy loads. I'm not even sure where to find the DIPM setting.

The Toolbox now looks good, and the Trim worked fine. So should I just ignore it for now, since there are no longer any flags on the Toolbox?
    Thanks!

    You're welcome.

Dual drive just means that you have two HDDs or SSDs installed in your system.

I'm currently working on a tutorial now to show you how to enable DIPM if wanted. It's only a AHCI Link Power Management option that gets enabled in your Advanced Power Plan Settings that allows you to be able to manage the HIPM/DIPM settings for a SSD. It's optional, and doesn't need to be turned on unless you just wanted to try and save some energy while the SSD is idle.

I'll post back with a link to the new tutorial when I get it finished later on. :)

Ok, the tutorial is finished. To enable DIPM, you would use the HIPM+DIPM setting in advanced power settings once you added the AHCI Link Power Management option from the tutorial. :)

Looks like Brink beat me to it. I should have read beyond your original post. I found this:

Thanks again Shawn and A Guy.

Shawn, my mis-interpretation on dual drive. I thought they meant "dual boot drives." Thanks for noting that; and for the tutorial.
