    WBADMIN - command line parameters

    Hi,

WBADMIN command line parameters provides a possibility to create batch files running advanced, automated backup.

But, I need a scheduled task for backup of the entire system image. It seems this is not possible, and that the only way to create a system image backup is by using the GUI?

    Anyone?

    /Per

What I'm looking for i the Windows 7 equivalent to the Windows Server 2008 "wbadmin start systemstatebackup" command line parameter..

    Thanks..

But this WBADMIN commands only apply to Windows Server 2008, not Windows 7. You can actually run the commands in W7, but you will get a message that its not supported in this Windows Version..

Works in Win 7 Pro for me:
    >WBADMIN get versions
    wbadmin 1.0 - Backup command-line tool
    (C) Copyright 2004 Microsoft Corp.

ERROR - No backup was found.
I don't have any backups but the command itself works okay.
