The internet measurements look good. The heat from the laptop is a pretty common problem. I solved mine by installing SSDs in 3 laptops (because the HDD is one of the heat producers). But that is a big investment. A cheaper solution is a chill pad like this:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1&_dynSessConf=8954483487138081815&id=pcat17071&type=page&st=chill+pad&sc=Global&cp=1&nrp=15&sp=&qp= &list=n&iht=y&usc=All+Categories&ks=960

It lowers the temp by appr. 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. The one I used for a while was a Targus.

To get an exact reading on the temps, make a measurement with e.g. Core Temp: http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

Maybe or maybe not. If your temps are below 70C at all times, there is no need to do anything. Sometimes one has the impression of too much heat because the trackpad and the parts near to it are in metal that transmits heat very well. The only way to find out the real story is by measuring the temps.

Delete Temp Files to speed up PC

Click the start button. In the search field type the following %temp%. This opens the temp folder.

Hold down the control key to highlight a few files or multiple files.

If you wish to delete all the temp files, press Control +A. This will highlight all files. Then press delete.

This sends all files to the recycle bin where you can get rid of them permanently.
