    Mystery Folders in AppData/Local


    I seem to be accumulating mystery folders in Users/User/AppData/Local. I have attached a snip and I have no idea what these are except that all the folders are empty.The computer is about 18 months old so this is a fairly new occurrence. Any thoughts please?

    They are created when something is installed. Unique Identifiers they are a perfectly normal occurrence.

    What I know, I posted here - only confirming WL Mail as the suspected culprit. No WL Msgr on my system.

    Also note- running newest: Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308) - as of this post anyway.

    If they are empty they are safe to delete.

Strange folders in AppData/Local

Hello, I got many folders with names like below in my AppData/Local folder. What are they for and can they be deleted? {5FDC113D-FB1E-4B77-9C32-40CF430B8115} Thanks.
I have scanned the computer and believe it not a virus and maybe something updating causes many folder with random characters in the AppData\Local directory, picture attached do you think its safe to delete.
All, I screwed up today. While meaning to delete files from AppData\Local\Temp, I accidentally deleted (many) from AppData. After a brief panic, I downloaded (from another machine) the utility Recuva64 (thank you!) and restored the missing files to a separate drive, after which I copied them...
