It would be nice to have a shortcut to access archived messages in Action Centre which can be used from anywhere.Alternatively does anyone know the path to access this, tje same can be said for problem reports in the reliability monitor

See here: The ultimate 'God Mode' list: 39 secret Windows 7 shortcuts

Once you have that setup, open it then you can right click on any of the entries and create a shortcut. I tried this for

    Action Center / View messages
Action Center / View all problem reports

    and both work.

    Hi
    c:\windows\system32\wercomcpl.dll problem reports
    c:\windows\system32\actioncentrecpl.dll review messages
    c:\windows\system32\perfcentercol.dll speed and performance
from what I can understand these three files store information generateed in the Control Panel's Action Centre and Troubleshooter
I know I can view this information there but I would like to create a shortcut for each.
Can anyone tell me what are the correct parameters to use presumabely through rundll32.exe
    thank you

I did. Look at what I posted. You can create shortcuts for anything in the Control Panel.
