    Not always. I have many games that are not Windows 7 compatible, yet they run when I install the most recent patch for that game. Examples include Homeworld Cataclysm, which was never even designed for Windows 7, but I have it running fine, without virtual machines.

    @Sindbad: If a patch exists for the game, try installing that and usually it will work, but not always. It is best if you try to find a game similar that is compatible with Windows 7. :)

    No, I am only giving advice that may or may not work, if patches don't exist, then you will probably not get it working on Windows 7, in which case you'll need a computer with Windows XP.
