Seems you don't research much ya? It's almost impossible to imitate a Windows Update updating mechanisms. It is fully legit and it shows in my Update history with uninstall option.

Besides, who the F cares if its security? this is a unreleased OS and the point of this "forum" is to be ahead of the curve and test things out whenever we have a chance. Guess you're stuck on XP.

I don't understand where you're going with this nonsense, you obviously don't sound like a "tech geek" if you're making a big deal out of this situation. The fact that SoLoR brought up this to attention says a lot, they are LEGIT, but only TWO are currently available. I already installed the previous 8 "secret" Updates and now I have 10 installed, what more proof do you need? stop making this into a issue.

You're also making it sound like anyone who used a "unreleased" Build of Windows 7 during development isn't using a "IT'S NOT A REAL WINDOWS 7 BUILD!!???!!!!! STOP THE CRAZINESS SECURITY!!!!!! PROBLEMS!!!!!! ahhhhhhHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!". It is no different with these Updates, unreleased, but still LEGIT! Some people like to test things out and see what they do and be INFORMED.

Lol, no comment about making fake windows updates.

regardless of anything, you cant even say what the issues were that got fixed with said updates, and when someone says its not smart to be downloading random "updates" you get offencive and start trying to bash.

again, what issues were these updates for?

if you don't even know how do you know they are updates, how do you know they arent a virus, a tracking mechanism, or arent for hardware that you don't even have??

also, about the not doing research comment, just ..... ............ again, what exactly were these updates for?

edit--
taken from "MDL" which was probably ripped from somewhere else but still doesnt say what they fix

I know about the update changelog, I found the source of those and it's a different forum. Who exactly cares if they're a virus or for crap I don't need, my RTM isn't activated and won't be till Oct 22, so I can just reformat and viola brand new clean notebook. I guess a bunch of noobs are online lately since I don't remember this many people coming directly to me telling me I'm downloading fake stuff when you probably used a unreleased so-called "fake" Windows 7 Build .

Hey, so anyone that installed these updates, have you had any problems? Does your system seem faster and more responsive or slower and more buggy? Have you found any outbound connections sending all of your personal information to some devious hacker?

I installed them on one of my computers just to see what was up and I've had no problems for the last 5 days and my computer seems a bit faster (i know, subjective, but it really does seem faster) and a weird problem with windows explorer crashing and a much higher cpu usage with the program macdrive has gone away also so I'm pleased.

I have been trying to install a bunch of windows updates, but every time I try it gets to 15% configured, then fails. It shuts down and restarts my computer and gives me a message that the updates failed. I'm not sure what to do here. Here's a screenshot to show the updates that aren't working....
