WEI: Error: Failed to properly access the disk

Well this is a first for me!

I decided to run the WEI after updating all of my drivers and have received an error message here saying that the WEI could not be computed: “Could not measure storage performance. Error: Failed to properly asses the disk. The parameter is incorrect.”

Can anyone assist me in figuring out the cause of this conflict?

sfc/ scannow shows no conflicts. I will run a System Health Report and run the basic disk Error Checking.

Such a general thing, hard to pinpoint a problem with what you've given. Ever mess with windows settings, services, anything like that? Have all windows important updates?

I've seen it. For me it wouldn't run becasue I had AppGuard's MBR protection enabled. After disabling the MBR protection, it completed

That link I posted mentioned an AV. try to temporarily disable it (and don't go getting yourself into trouble now) and see if anything improves.
