What is using my harddrive space

My laptop has a 150Gb harddrive of which only 50Gb are still free. Is there some tool I can use to tell me what is using the other 100Gb? I'm not running huge software, nor do I have masses of music on it. I just can't seem to find what it is.

Its worth noting that there are no performance issues.

    Thanks

Is this really someone elses computer?

I ask because your system specs and the text of your msg do not agree.

If someone elses then I suggest that they pose their question here to eliminate the middle man.

karl, bigseb says in op that it is the laptop, his specs are for his desktop.

Missed that. A suggestion would be for him to either add the laptop specs in or to change the specs to reflect the laptop.
