Can not delete Windows folders/files from My Documents

Trying to delete an outdated folder and containing files...but when I choose 'delete"' I get a message saying the file/folder is no longer there ?

Have refreshed/re-started/renamed the files folders but still get the error message in jpg attached ?

How do I get rid of this folder ?

    Thanks...TRinAZ

    Hello TRinAZ,

If it's still there after restarting the computer or refreshing (F5) the window, then you might see if using the free program Unlocker on the folder may be able to allow you to delete it afterwards.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Does the folder also show up in your actual Documents folder? I notice that you're using the Libraries view and I'm just curious if going directly to your Documents folder would show the same thing. Maybe the library is somehow out-of-date?
But try Brink's advice first and see what happens.

Thanks guys...noticed the "library" also and tried from the users folder...same issue.

Tried Unlocker and while it reported no "locks"...what ever it else it does it worked !!

    Thanks...
