disk management layout? hm, where can i find this?
    Another method:

Click the Start button and type dsk in the Search field.

Under the Programs list click "Create and format hard disk partitions" which will open the Disk Management window.

Make sure you expand it to full size then post it using the Snipping Tool.

You don't have much free space on D that you could add to C.

The usual suspects responsible for a growing C are System Restore, the page file, or the hibernation file.

You can control the size of the first two. You can eliminate the last one entirely if you don't use hibernation.

You might also be able to get some space back by using Disk Cleanup.

But, really, you have a small drive. I'd bite the bullet and get a larger drive.

If you mean the hibernation file, no you can't just delete it. It must be disabled by opening a command prompt with administrative privileges and typing powercfg -h off - this will disable hibernation and delete hiberfil.sys from your C: drive automatically.

okay, noted. By the way, how can I open the command prompt? I found out there's another way of disabling the hibernate file from one of the links too

Command prompt should be available among your list of programs as shown from the start menu. Look at the various categories.

The easiest way is to open your Start menu, click on Run and then just type cmd. The command window will automatically be opened with administrative privileges.

"i cant seem to run...run" okay, haha, kidding, pun intended. Em, thanks, got it. Will try to do it. I actually installed the CCleaner and it deleted all the unnecessary files, before this I had like 20MB now I have 1.5GB free. I will try to do other methods as well
