Here's mine now that I've turned IE8 off ...
Mine.
As far as I understand all problems was caused by unsuccessful Driver installation. So I think It caused Video hardware error and Hl crash. Yes?
And As you can see on the next picture there was successful installation of the same driver after 2 days (I think it was updated version), so there should be no problem again, am I right?
Thank you :)
btw. what is COM surrogate?
Hi and Thank you Creer,
I checked out the link, but it dosen't fit much to my scenario.
I can't even remember when I had that kind of problem while browsing movie folders
There was some possible solutions, But:
I do use only web version of DivX player and for all other videos I just use The KMPlayer;
I don't use Nero;
I don't use Codec packs, as I use The KMPlayer;
Yeah, It may be DEP as I enabled it to all programms but had to turn off it hl.exe (as it will keep closing my Counter Strike whenever I opened it )
So, I can't think of why that problem had occurred, but I can say it didn't happened again :)
Maybe It is to do with Unsuccessful Graphic drive installation too?
Thank you again!
P.S. Just remembered It also maybe something to do with Album Art preview in The KMPlayer which I enabled for some time and disabled it again as it created picture previews of all my movies on that folder and filled is with unneeded "junk" =)
My dropped like hell trying to get Bioshock to work.(Works now.) It's taken nearly a week of uptime to get it back to nearly 3/4 with a couple of Oblivion CTDs on the way.
As far as I can see it's just a program crash summary?
Nearly 10 days and almost back to the top!:)
What a great app. Just looked at mine and aside from one shut down error and two 'not responding' from CyberLinks PowerDVD my Windows 7 PC has been flawlessly reliable.
Here's something interesting for you my friends. The 10/10 image is from my PC and the other one which resembles something between The Sydney Opera House and the Stock Exchange has been sent to me and is from a PC used by a wonderful MS Tech Support guy that I've built up a great relationship with from Malaysia:
NB: He told me today that Windows 8 is about three years away approximately?
