Teerex, I'm not quite sure on how to update my BIOS because I have never done that before. And it just seems a little bit risky from what I've heard when googling how to do it.
Sooner or later every owner of a laptop has to go through that life-changing experience. Consider it as a coming of age, and it's better to do it while your laptop is still covered by a guarantee.

Scan a USB flash drive for errors, format it in FAT32 (most are already formatted this way by deafult). Put the BIOS file you downloaded on it and use the BIOS flash utility inside your current BIOS. I updated BIOS's many times, and I have never had an ''incident''. Also, make sure your laptop has a stable supply of power (full battery AND connected to the mains).

Yeah I'll just need to clear one of my flash drives then do it.

"and use the BIOS flash utility inside your current BIOS."

How do I do that? I don't know anything really about updating my BIOS to be honest. I can get the BIOS update file and that's about as far as I've gotten haha.

Boot the computer with the flash drive in the USB slot. Press F2 when you see the ASUS logo on startup, that should get you inside BIOS. Than just look around without changing anything to a BIOS update section. There, you should be abel to navigate to the file using keyboard arrow keys. The utility in the BIOS should recognize the BIOS file as a valid BIOS image and ... then do as prompted.

I'm citing from memory, it was pretty straightforward and quick when I did it. The only scary moment is when the laptop shut down but did not start up as I expected from my previous BIOS updating experiences. But I turned it on myself and everything was jolly good.

You'll find some tutorials here. The BIOS avenue is option A.

Updating in BIOS is considered the safer method.

So do you think I should do it? I haven't had any more of the ACPI errors.

What exactly is the BIOS update for? It should say either on the download page or in a ReadMe file within the downloaded files. I always want to know what it's for because it often is for some insignificant thing (like Language) that doesn't affect me and isn't worth the risk.

I believe the safest method is updating from Windows, but others may differ.

Don't think this is anything bad probably just a little glitch. When i was resuming from hibernate I received a blue screen for about 2 seconds then it went to normal and showed my user name to click on. (It wasn't a BSOD just a blue screen)

Do you have performance problems that you're trying to troubleshoot or just want to run with clean logs?

I'm way to OCD and worry to much about my computer. I basicly just want someone that knows more than me to tell me that there's nothing wrong with all of the errors and stuff i had listed.
