Windows Home Premium x 64

My PC developed this problem recently shortly after adding a wireless mouse. I checked its properties in device manager and found that the option to allow it to wake computer was unchecked.
After following various of the suggested solutions with no effect I went to power options -> change plan settings -> change advanced power settings -> sleep -> allow wake timers. This was already set to "Disabled", so I enabled it and then disabled it once more. This seems to have solved the problem.
