You may be able to reduce it by doing some disk cleanup. Mine is less than 2 GB.
I wouldn't delete it.
how would i do this "disk cleanup"?
Ok i tried that... only removed 5 gigs, is there any other way to get more space? And i dont know whats taking up so much space on my computer.
35GB ??
OK, the AppData\Roaming folder definitely should not (and probably can't) be deleted as it typically contains settings, temporary and cache files for many of your installed applications.
In fact, once you look inside this folder you'll see more folders with familiar-sounding names (Adobe, Microsoft, ImgBurn, Mozilla, Skype, TrueCrypt, Winamp, to name a few examples taken from my own Roaming folder).
If yours is taking up 35GB then that's because some particular application is storing a huge amount of stuff in there that it shouldn't be. You might browse around a bit and find out which one it is, then we can see why there's so much data in it, if it's safe to delete it, or if we can move it to another location permanently.
FML....... Folder that was taking up so much space = Apple Computer, 34.9 GB worth of backups for my ipod !!! Yay!!!
Well guys thank you all so much!
I knew it! Talk about a bad Apple.
Glad you were able to get this one tracked down and solved. Happy computing :)
@Xnefoo: i have the same issue (well not exactly 35GB:)) i wanted to know what did you do to the file? Did you delete it or moved it, if so how?
