Is Cleaners Registry Cleaner "safe"

Is there a Registry cleaner there is safe,what about Winferno Power Registry Cleaner for instance,And is Ccleaner safe if you use the default settings,what cleaners do YOU use(if any)to maintain the stability of windows 7,or to get a decent boot time;or what ever.
There is doubt about that the registry is filled whit "Things" you do not need,even on windows 7,what to do about it is another question.
On this Outstanding forum,i have got the understanding,that the most respected oppinion about maintance,when it comes to w 7,that the system maintain it self,and that the system tools is more than enough,Correct me if i am wrong.

You are right. Registry cleaners are unnessary.

Asser, this forum is littered with threads asking how to retrieve a system that has been wrecked by a registry cleaner.

We've all been down that road and learned the hard way that registry 'cleaners' often cause more problems than those they claim to fix.

Windows 7 is a good operating system that is best left to get on with its job without any 'help' from so-called registry cleaners.

CC is safe, but just don't use the registry cleaner...

Ccleaner is safe if used carefully, but it has been known to mess up registry settings if used without care.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, if you are adamant you want to 'clean' the registry, make sure you first create a restore point and back up the registry just in case things go wrong.

My philosophy is quite simple - if it ain't broke, don't fix it. :)
