Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-Bit

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

The file in question - mscorsvw.exe - is used to precompile .NET assemblies in the background and when its task is complete you won't see it again.

This article explains things in more detail: What is mscorsvw.exe and why is it eating up my CPU? What is this new CLR Optimization Service? - David Notario's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

Once the task is finished your shutdown time will no longer be affected by this process.

I'm not really sure what the problem is you need help with - you have an ~33 second boot time, and the .net runtime compiler (mscorsvw) took less than half of one second to run (.236 seconds). That was logged because it took 136 thousandths of a second longer than the last boot (yes, .136 seconds). What is the actual problem you are having?

163387ms boot duration with an SSD?
As the title suggests really, always had crap boot times with my computer but I've now re-installed everything with an SSD and it's probably even worse. Any suggestions? Defrag perhaps? Or is that a massive no-no with SSD's... I've already ruined one before a year ago so I'm wary or how I...
