    PC wakes after 5 minutes....source power button....need advice


    hello, my win7ult pc has worked flawlessly until i installed a new LCD cable and microphone behind the display. Then the battery would not charged....fixed that....now the pc wakes up every five minutes when it is asleep....

    I found in events log that it is my power button that is cause the wake but now i need to know where to go from here to correct the problem...i tried advanced power setting already and i cant seem to find wake on LAN in bios...so any help is appreciated

    You can find those settings in the advance properties for your lan card via windows..
    either go through the device manager or through network and sharing to get there.

    The craziest thing.......turns out calender service kept remindind me to do something.....I turned it off.....and it corrected the problem......never had that problem with it before......microsoft works 9/calender.....thanks for your reply.
