nicoscham: I did extract winre.wim . winload.exe is not in the wim file! Stopcode is 0xc000000f when trying to boot from it. Means winload.exe is missing. Indeed it's missing.

No boot no repair suspect boot source change...

    Hello all
About 2 weeks ago, I finally decided to activate full recovery of my Toshiba (Satellite L670-105). It was freezing frequently, boot time was about 15 min to half an hour, unable to recover from a sleep session...
I burned the recovery DVD using built-in procedure, but then used the HDD recovery service.

Then everthing was working well again.
Still, using photo edito, it started to be slow again...
One week later, the computer was unable to complete the boot process:
It gets stucks when the multicolor windows is finished.
Then I forced stop, and restart.
Computer offered me to repair, what I confirmed. Then I had "loading files", the green cursor moving and then black screen which would be still like this if I didn't stop it again.

    Several tries...

Then I use the DVD I burn before: same black screen.

Then I have found that MS allows to use a standard windows with the OEM licence and donwload an iso file of the boot disk:

Try it on a USB flash memory: "USB failed", since USB is no more offered.

Burn is as it is on a DVD, try it again: "DVD failed"

Decompress the iso and burn contents on new DVD: "DVD failed"

Is there anything to try more?

Any sense to purchase the Toshiba official recovery disc (which should be the exact copy of my first burn)?

    Possible to try a freeDOS?

Could it be that the disc itself is no good? "Think Extra" 8x speed DVD+R RW: should I burn again on DVD-R?

Last information: I had to replace the power switch few time before (worn out due to numerous hard stops?)

As many french people, I'm using french speaking variants of many softwares including windows.

May be may case is not so new, but please... help!

    14th of May:
I bought a hdd housing, which enabled me to explore my Toshiba hdd with another computer: then I could diag that some clusters were corrupted and let chkdsk correct them (isolate).
Then refit the disk in Toshiba and repair windows. Repair lasted about one week-end.
Now No boot again, no repair again, and exploring again with my other computer, windows partition is explorable, but impossible to activate chkdsk! I have the question if I want to activate it next boot.
But I can't activate any boot on my second computer Windows 7 with a Core duo 2Gb RAM is not possible and it's not a personal one...

Next is supposed to be new hdd, but...
