Pages frequently go inactive. What do I do?

    Hello,
I've recently upgraded to Windows 7 ult(clean install with mech upgrade as well).
Everything seems to work fine but I noticed that whenever I open my web browser and browse the web or work on document by typing, the page I'm currently browsing or working on goes inactive(it does not freeze though).
For example, just now as I type this post, the page goes inactive(page itself is still there) and the cursor disappears so I have to click back on the page in order to continue. Another example, when I read down an article on a web browser by scrolling down my mouse wheel, scrolling no longer works because the page I am reading has become inactive. I have to click back on to the page. I find this extremely annoying and really need help to fix the problem.

I've updated the driver for the mouse and also tried my old mouse. The problem remains. chance of usb port conflict?

Any suggestions or help are most welcomed and really appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hello prodigy180,

My mind reading skills are a tad slow ATM.

    * If we had your System Specs we may be able to better help you.

    * Did you check with the Windows 7 upgrade advisor {before you upgraded to Win7} to see if it reported any problems?
