EventViewer :: Get Registry Value Taskman Failed

    EventViewer :: Get Registry Value Taskman Failed


    Hi,
    I am running windows 7 embedded and running shell instead of explorer.exe.

    Everything is working fine except when i go into evertviewer i can see an error message saying :
    Get Registry Value Taskman Failed

    By the way, task manager package is not installed and we don't want it to be installed as well.

    Hi, Welcome to SevenForums,
    I'm a bit confused, you say you don't have Taskmanager installed, but the message that a registry value for it can't be obtained 'Get Registry Value Taskman Failed' seems a puzzle.
    Perhaps I'm taking the simplistic view.

    Yes this is right.
    Is there any registry entry i can do to fix that?
