    Focus performance issue.

Hi, I am running at 4.1Ghz overclocked CPU, 8gb of ram and a 550ti gfx card so my memory resources are really not limited, i have 2 screens and i like to play games fullscreen in windowed mode so i can switch between the browser on one screen and switch back to my game on the other, i know this option exists but i don't know where it can be set, basically i want my game to still run at full performance even when the game window is not active (focused), whenever i switch back to my browser, no matter what game i can play smooth when the window is focused, when i switch back to the browser my fps goes down so i have to switch back to the game to see everything in realtime, i am pretty sure the option is called something like, decrease performance when window is unfocused or something like that.

    Path

control panel --> system --> advanced system setting --> on the advanced tab click settings

    Might work, might not.

    One More Click

I missed one more click. From the Settings window click the advanced tab. It will look like this.

Which as far as the the video card, drivers and game is concerned is no different than Alt+Tabbing out of the game. Also has nothing to do with Windows and i there is a setting/option somewhere for that sort of thing (highly doubt it), it would be in the video card's own control panel.

card drivers have nothing to do with windows being focused/minimized etc. so it would be a windows option.. should i record a video to show what i need changed?
